For those who experience anxiety or fear associated with dental visits, options include:
Oral Sedation – In pill form, this provides total relaxation throughout dental procedures, leaving little to no memory of the procedure afterwards. The medication is taken prior to your arrival so you are in a relaxed state from the moment you walk into our office. Recovery is quick, leaving most with a refreshed feeling afterwards.
I.V. Sedation (Twilight Sleep) – This sedation provides a deeper level than Oral Sedation and is delivered through an I.V. drip prior to and during your dental procedure. Most patients have no memory of the procedure afterward and prefer this ‘sleep state,’ although recovery requires more time. Most, however, feel back to normal the next day.
Nitrous Oxide – Also referred to as “laughing gas,” this relaxation method reduces anxiety during treatment.
Specially-Designed Total Relaxation Room – From the lighting to the aromatherapy to the cozy blanket and serene atmosphere, this room is designed to enhance patient relaxation when anxiety is a concern.
Other Relaxation Features – Chair massagers, relaxation videos and music, and a selection of beverages add to a pampered feeling at every visit.
Throughout your treatment with any form of sedation, your vital signs are continually monitored to ensure your safety and comfort. By your side, you’ll have trained staff who use advanced equipment.
